Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 26, 2026
Last updated: September 4, 2026

Hands On Deck Inc. (“Hands On Deck,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit https://www.handsondeckgb.org, contact us, subscribe to communications, register for a program or event, sign a participation agreement or waiver, make a purchase or donation, create or use an account or membership, or otherwise interact with our services.

This policy applies to information handled by Hands On Deck. Some services are provided by third parties, including WordPress, Pressable, First Mate, Stripe, Smartwaiver, Give Lively, and Google. Those providers may collect and process information under their own privacy policies.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect contact and communication information; newsletter and marketing information; program, class, and event information; participation agreements, waivers, and media choices; purchase, membership, and account information; donation information; payment information; and website, device, analytics, and cookie information.

When an adult participant, parent, guardian, school, or authorized adult registers for a class, camp, event, field trip, membership, or other program, we or our service providers may collect the participant’s and registering adult’s names and contact information; the participant’s age or date of birth and selected demographic information; school, group, class, program, scheduling, and attendance information; parent or guardian information and relationship to a minor participant; information needed to administer the program, prepare appropriate materials, or communicate about participation; and purchase, package, payment, and transaction information.

For some programs, a parent, guardian, or adult participant may be asked to complete an electronic agreement or waiver through Smartwaiver. Please do not provide medical, health, or other sensitive information unless a form specifically requests it and it is reasonably necessary for the program.

Donations are processed through Give Lively and its payment processors. Payment-card and other financial-account information is collected and processed by payment providers such as Stripe and the payment processors used by Give Lively. Hands On Deck does not intend to receive or store complete payment-card numbers or security codes.
